* When the Berlin Wall fell, I was at St. John's in my room in Pinkney. I heard screaming and yelling and wandered out to check. People were milling around. Someone had seen it on Breaking News on the common room TV. It hadn't quite sunk in yet, being unexpected, but it certainly was exciting. People born since the wall fell are in College now. I feel old.
