title: the true kingdom (prologue)



she ran and ran holding it in her arms. she knew what they would do if they got it. she kept running. the echo of hooves could be heard. she ran faster in her tattered tan cloak she wore that hid her face. the sound of hooves grew louder and louder telling her that they were getting closer. she layed it under an old bridge she was crossing. the were now infront of her on giant black hoarse's. "tell us were you put it" said one of the men that were covered in dark metal armor. she shook her head and treid to run but another one of the men in the armor shot her wtih an arrow threw the heart. they crossed the bridge hoping that she hid it somewhere past it. an old homeless man who use to be a samurai, he was now homeless due to the war taking everything from him. he picked it up and looked at it. "who would leave a baby under the bridge." he said looking at it's face. "you'll be safe with me little one'' he told the baby as he rocked it. this is were our story begins
