I heard this and it really just stuck with me.

This is all one guy speaking until the end btw.

Oh yeah and I changed like a 1 or 2 words so that where it's from is still a secret.

Why do you keep fighting?
Do you believe you are fighting for something?
For more than your survival?
Can you tell me what it is?
Do you even know?
Is it freedom?
Or truth?
Or perhaps peace?
Could it be love?
...Illusions!
Vagaries of perception!
Temporary constructs of the feeble human intellect trying desperately to justify an existence that is without meaning or purpose!
All of them are as artificial as the people that believe they exist...
...Although only the human mind could invent something as insipid as love.
You must be able to see it.
You must know it by now.
You can't win
It's pointless to keep fighting.
So why?
Why?!
WHY do you persist!?"

Yup, it really made me think about why I still get up in the mornings.

About why I do the things I do.

I also heard this from the same source as that speech, though it's not nearly as long.


"Love is just a word, what matters is the connections that it implies."

That is also something that made me think.

I think that I think too much.
