The world around me had grown cold and the light was all but gone... How did I get there? Where was this? Questions I'm afraid I'll never have the answers to... It was a long walk through cold peaks and a stream or two... Things at night crying and disturbing my sleep. A quiet walk where ever I went. No signs of life too light my way. As the dawn broke over my tired eyes, I saw a man... yet not a man, but a man none the less. He pointed toward the rising sun and was gone... A sight so faint I was scarce sure I hadn't dreamed it... I walked, through miles of valley... Acres of wood, and down a winding slope that seemed to get longer as I marched on... The air was bitter, the wind was gone... The way I walked was far too long... And though my soul disagreed. I walked... Hoping someday that this would lead me to A way home... Where I would never be lost again.
