Jamie woke up about a half hour later to the sound of the car alarm going off once again. "What is with people today?" She thought as she rolled over onto her side. "An entire day lost. How lame." With a sigh she forced herself to sit up which caused the stuffed animal covering her face to fall down into her lap. Tired blue-gray eyes inspected the room through hair which had fallen onto her face in a tangled mess. Now would be the opportune time to try and take something for her headache and possibly ask her brother to pick her up something to eat while he was out. Thinking of her brother made Jamie roll her eyes. He was such a goof ball and almost always hanging out with Trey, his best friend. She hadn't seen Tray around in a while though, not that it mattered much to her. She only really wanted him around when she was in the mood to tease someone. She didn't hate him exactly, but they had never been the best of friends, not that it mattered either way.
Jamie got to her feet, wobbled, and started stumbling towards her bedroom door and out into the hall. Once or twice she nearly tripped and fell because of the faded and tattered hem of the gray sweatpants she was wearing. She would have replaced them a long time ago, but they where her favorite pair, bought for her by her brother.
