Even tough I'm agnostic i find Christmas as a beautiful day i can share with my family. It's a very peaceful day full of this strange energy and vibes that fill, i believe, everyone's hearts with warmth and... well... peace... XD So i hope you will all have a wonderful Christmas and that you will like my story! biggrin

Lately i heard a lot of people talk about loosing someone dear to them and how it will be lonely without 'that someone' on Christmas. So this story is for all those who lost someone dear to them... I hope you will like it and remember... everyone dear to you will always be with you in your hearts. And even though you lost someone, you don't have to bear your pain alone for there are people that care for you and wish you only the best. Don't forget about them and if you intended to spend your Christmas alone think about it again and spend it with them, you will see that your day will have a new, brighter color...
Christmas before time
She was polishing decorations for her small tree in corner of her room. It was a small tree indeed, but still so full of life and beauty. Soon it'll shine together with the ornaments that she got ready only for it. At the bottom of the box, wrapped in sheets of paper, a sparkling silver star was trying to reach its dream again, to become once again the one at the top of that tree everyone will admire. But it was wrapped in those papers for so long now... so long... Just like her. Not ready to give up yet it sparkled even stronger until it made her look. Girl took the star and the star could see she lost that shine in her eyes. It looked around but couldn't find him. Where was he? Girl started to cry and teardrop fell on little star. Floods of memories started to flow through both of them. Moments they shared and memories they created. Little star remembered well how she was a present from him to her on their first Christmas together. It remembered how they were looking at it with bright smiles, how they sang to it and cherished it. But now... star was trapped in that box just like she was. Star knew there was so much out of that box, but wasn't sure if its owner knew it as well.
She has lost her shining star in her heart when she lost him. She has lost her heart's ornaments and there was no tree she could share them with anymore. Her light was extinguished and put in a box that was locked in a hidden place. Little star cried with her for her loss and even though it couldn't bring him back it decided to ask for a favor from its friends. It will give her a present she won’t ever forget.
The night before Christmas came and star found its way to her. With dust from its friends she put hope in girl’s dreams. As she was dreaming of pain and what she lost, he appeared. His sad eyes gave away his pain. It wasn’t supposed to be like that. She wasn’t supposed to end up like that. He reached his arms towards her and hugged her tightly. She flinched at this familiar feeling, feeling she missed, this warm sensation that was always filling both her mind and heart. Feeling she lost. As he caressed her cheeks she could hear his soft voice calling her name, his sweet words filling the air. He wanted her to live! He wanted her to go forward and really live the life she deserves. She couldn’t forget him tough. He was her only one. As her tears were flowing he wiped them with his fingers and spoke the words of wisdom and love to his only one. He shattered her locks and pulled her out of the box. It was her time to live again.
Morning came and she opened her eyes with new glow in them. It was Christmas and she was alone. As she went to her living room she smiled at the little star. She gently took it and put it in a small box. She has a new home for it now, a home fit to its beauty. She took her bag and slowly went to her destination. Breathing the cold winter air felt good. She was so long in hiding she forgot how beautiful the world really is. Streets were full of families going to visit their dear ones just like she was. She forgot when the last time she visited her dear brother was. She was a bit nervous after all this time but bravely knocked at the door. Smiling face got turned into a shocked one. He hasn’t seen her for so long now, he hasn’t heard from her for so long. He didn’t waste any time and reached for her to make sure she wasn’t a dream. He missed her so much, his beautiful little sister.
Finally, after so long they can have a Christmas as a family. They will cherish ‘him’ too for he was a part of it as well. She reached in her bag and took a little box from it. As her brother opened it he smiled to see a little star that was dear to him. He immediately put it on his tree and it shined brightly all the time filling their hearts with memories and warmth they longed for all this time. She finally realized that even though she lost him, all those beautiful memories will always be with her no matter what. She knew that way he will always be with her and watch over her. She now knew life has to go on and he would want that, so every day and every second she will cherish what they had and a new life he gave her. She will cherish her life and live it joyfully with her family and dear ones just like it is Christmas every day.
