Today, Wednesday, December sixteenth, was one of the most amazing days I've ever experienced. Well, it's the afternoon that was amazing; the morning was kind of a fluster.
It all started when I woke up, which was forty-five minutes later than I was supposed to. After all the rushing, I got to school, and headed to first period. That class is never really anything special, but we decided we would have a party on Friday, as long as it wasn't called a "party". No, we're going to be referring to it as "The Gathering". That should be fun. Second block: Civics and Economics; today, it was known as Debate class. Going over a test took the entire class, due to arguments over two of the questions' answers. Third block: We continued watching my favourite educational video, An Inconvenient Truth told by Al Gore. It's about Global Warming, and I absolutely love the facts, surprises, and informations this video gives. Lunch: There was a fight, but, I missed it. Fourth Block: We learned about Scatter Plots, with the help of a few hundred Skittles. Tummy-ache inducing, though.
And, now
the amazing part
begins.
First off, immediately after school, I went to audition for a rewrite of The Hunchback of Notre Dame. I had the part of Clopin to audition with. The director pulled me, and a few others, aside, and told us. . . Well, I'm not supposed to tell anyone, so, if you were a participant, nevermind this; he told us that we were most likely to be chosen for the roles. I've never had that happen to me before. I was in shock, awe, and some other third emotion. . . astonishment, there we go. I do hope I make it.
After a short trip to Quizno's, I came back to watch a play, The Effects of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the-Moon Marigolds. This was about a mere girl, taking on a science experiment dealing with radiation on Marigolds, but that was only symbolism, pertaining to her troubled household. This would have to be my favourite drama in the world.
Now for the real amazing part. It wasn't the play, no. It was the one I was watching the play with. My love, and my world, Rebecca. Tonight, she wore the most spectacular dress I've ever seen. Cloud white, with a bit of a frilly torso, and a long silky flow down to the feet, where noticeable frills danced around her ankles. This dress looked quite amazing; very amazing, actually. I'm not saying she only looked amazing that day; don't get me wrong. But, this attire gave her elegance, grace, and beauty, beyond the likes of which I've ever cast my gaze upon.
I'm still in awe, quite.
"I love her so much, it's retarded." <333
