So...the 17th was/is my birthday. Since I turned..woaah..17 on the 17th, that's considered my 'golden birthday.' (According to Irum, the girl at my lunch table.) Supposedly amazing and wonderful things are to happen on this birthday..
I woke up late. Felt like crap, because I had another one of these dreams where I feel like I'm in someone else's shoes--and I get so absorbed.I forget I'm Tali, and that YES, I must wake up to go to school. sweatdrop
The day seemed to get worse as no one seemed to remember it was my birthday, but as usual, I sucked it up and plotted to guilt trip them all later. =3 ((Leroy -boyfriend/bestfriend- was actually the first to wish me happy birthday! then Kerrie,-pie loving canadian x)- then my family. )) So those people who DID wish me it would be exempt--
Even..even the people I played cards with forgot. Which kinda hurt. BUT THEN...Oh my god..Irum...=.= At lunch she showered me in confetti and hugs and chocolate. *-*
She vanished for awhile--and I wondered if she was embarrassed or something..I was still in shock myself. And then--BOOM. Over the P.A. system...in Irum's voice, "Happy 17th Birthday, Tali!!!"
Next thing I know, I'm getting swarmed by people in all my classes, "Holy s**t, it's your birthday?" "I thought you were 13!!" "Whaaa? Older than me!? Smaller than me!? WHAAA?" "Yo." "Birthday sex---OWWWW.." <-Cody & me hitting Cody with a yardstick I found happily. ^.^
So that day was made nice. Got a bunch of chocolates--however..my laptop, which recently blew up..couldn't be repaired...without a motherboard.
Oh, and Nessa, my best girl friend came over and surprised me with roses. =3

So now, the 18th of December, I figured..it was birthday part 2..since I heard my cousins and grandma's were coming over (one blood related, one old family friend.) So I got dressed cutely with ribbons and christmas-y..Red, White, and Black. With knee socks that laced up with red ribbon and all..y'know..so I'm not a christmas angel..but not a hell beast either--
I opened the front door---and saw all of my old friends from my old school standing there. They basically said school sucked without me there. xD Apparently..I'm a celebrity? eek I. Don't. Like...I mean..I don't entertain..very well..though everyone tells me I do, I think I don't.
Ah, it was so much fun. xD
We all played Brawl. =3 I won.
We played cards my style too..and THEN my aunts and everyone came over..so it was a massive hug fest. *-* And I don't think my ribcage will be the same again..but! It's all good! mrgreen
Out of the amazing gifts I received are: Rubber Chicken (Gabe/cousin), Zelda: Twilight Princess (Cousins), Pendant with the chinese character for 'love' around jade, (Grandma) Howl's moving castle (Nessa..the girly planned this surprise party the whole time..=.=) and from Zach, a manga guide to physics..which looks almost like H-manga, but isn't. xD
OH! and the best part. This birthday is truly golden, the best birthday..because..I actually..was able to get something from Leroy. 4laugh Cards...I've never seen anything like them before..playing cards..but they feel silky like tarot cards...and are more durable. (I haven't lost a game with them yet. )
And, oh my god I'm rambling. -.- But I just figured..I had to write all this down SOMEWHERE, y'know! So I don't forget. So..if you actually read this far, and this much..congrats, you should get a medal. =3
too bad I don't have one.
