Today I got a huge over stuffed package from him. Inside, was pretty good gifts, all for me. Over the years, (before I ditched his a** and Moved out of state that is) he had only gotten me dollar items if anything at all. plus, they were always far from things i ever actually liked.

Inside read a note saying "this is to make up all the Christmases and birthdays i missed". That he did. I got a beautiful large dolphin snowglobe, one of those light up glass items with the cool pattern inside. (2 different glasses i got, one a fairy with a tulip and the other dolphins at a sunset) a stuffed dolphin, gold jewelry that i'll never wear (and not just because of my metal allergy), an mp3 player (holy s**t father, you spent a lot on this didn't you? -sarcasm btw-) a purple sailor moon wallet (ugly thing but i'lll keep it because it's sailor moon), a hannah montanna ornament filled with fruity candies (gag), a few stainglass jewelry sets, an ugly dolphin necklace (obviously no more than 50 cents),a hideous pink polkadotted mp3 player holder, a HSM bracelet that's wearable if i rip the pendant off, and cards made for two year olds.

half of it is junk and just emphasises the fact that he doesn't know me, but i still liked some of it.

Though I feel bad about the mp3 player thing, because I already have an ipod ;~;

I called my dad to thank him, because i felt obligated to, and i knew it. We still had nothing to talk about and it was still awkward as hell. oh well, no harm done.

p.s on the phonecall i discovered his evil hating wife actually told him what to buy instead of him just trying.
