Just the other day I was shopping for Christmas presents at a second-hand store. I was with some others.
There had been only a few customers at the time. By the time we'd gone up to the register, there was a mother and son soon to follow.
Since we were Christmas shopping for eachother, the adult of us had said that we shouldn't peer into either cart.
We'd been talking about stuff like so, and were wearing mighty strange clothing, as it was a lazy day.
The woman asked our adult if she wanted a present, so, she made an odd look because she didn't understand the question.. coming from a stranger, no less. (Who would ask if anyone wanted a present?)
Another funny thing is that after she'd said something close to 'sure', the woman handed over the present to her, and it was something of a huge discount. [Ya have to know, there was some great crap at the place.]And when the woman had said 'Get your girls something nice.'
Her boy said that one of the girls was a dude.
Funny, eh?
We're not poor people, but that's not what she'd thought.
So, there's a Christmas story about the holiday spirit..
