A little girl with long red hair was walking through the forest one day and met a boy with brown hair there.
"Hello" She said to him from behind.
He jumped.
She giggled.
"It’s not funny walking up behind someone like that."
"Yes it is"
"Yeah right."
"What are you doing out here...?" She asked.
"Why do you wanna know...? And why are you even out here...?" he replied back acting like he was all tough and strong.
"I’m just out here to look out at the lake." She smiled.
"Lake...?" Her smile confused him.
She nodded. "Mhm... There’s one just beyond the trees out there.."
She pointed in a direction. He looked.
"Wanna go see it with me...?"
"Why would I wanna do that...?"
"Because you are all alone."
"Y-You are too!"
"Yes but I am not alone like you are."
The boy looked away all shy and embarrassed.
"Well you coming or not...?"
"F-fine I guess I'll come with you"
She smiled at him again. Then started walking down a path that looks as though it has been used many times before. The boy followed in silence.
