Throughout the ages, occult become something many young people became interested in. From reading tarot cards to playing around with witchcraft and magic in general. But during the olden times, many if they were caught playing in these arts, well they were declared witches and killed through various measures. However certain families escaped from these witch hunts. They grew and thrived, mingling with everyone as they passed through the ages. They lived and died, no one noticed the difference though. So when the times changed and many diverged into the occult, well the families started to emerge from the dark reaches of their confinement. It seems the practice was worldly accepted now. So they emerged and mingled more strongly with others.
Six houses were left of the witches or six families of their kind were left. They all named their houses after birds of their choice, mingling with their talents and beliefs. The names were White Dove, Golden Falcon. Silver Eagle, Blood Raven, Black Hawk and Gray Osprey. Each of the families followed their own code of honor one would say. But Blood Raven drifted off and started to mingle with the darker arts which included blood sacrifices. Since they found it more to their liking. Both Black Hawk and Gray Osprey followed Blood Raven's example, enjoying it more. However the other families soon found out and huge war broke out between the six families. Three on each side.
It raged on for years and many lives were lost. But White Dove, Golden Falcon and Silver Eagle ended up being victorious. They made the other three families on the verge of extinction, since they killed many of them. The remaining members of the three families, retreated and vowed revenge for their fallen kin. The other side that won watched them leave and promised them, that they would eliminate all of them in due time. The fallen families retreated and went their separate ways, trying to rebuild what was lost in the war. While the winning side, left to live among the humans. No one every heard from those three house again. So the winning side, thought they had perished and lived on with their lives.
Now many years later, there has been rumors that teenagers have gone missing. Their bodies never found, causing everyone to worry about a serial killer in their midst. But that changed one day, when the police came upon a body of a missing girl. She seemed to drained of her blood and dressed in a weird grab with strange markings. Word spread to the remaining three families and they knew that sign anywhere. Apparently, the families, they thought dead were back. Back from the dead and ready to seek their revenge. That body was their calling card. It seems the war of the six families was about to begin once again. But this time it was their children's children's job to form peace and rebuild the shattered remains of the broken six houses. But the problem is, that the darker houses don't want peace. No they want revenge for those that have fallen in the previous war, the war that brought them very close to extinction.
So now, the modern times, once again became a battlefield between the six families. They have allied and teamed up, with those of the previous war. Just this time, only one side will be left standing. Six houses that hold magical arts, but only three will remain the victors. Of course what of those that have nothing to do with it, become drawn into such a conflict? Can peace actually form between them or will revenge forever keep their relationships apart?
