I remember the days when things were simple,
When we would smile and laugh,
ignorant to each others thoughts and feelings,
Each night whispering softly three simple words,
soft enough to escape your ears,
soft enough that deep down you knew what i said,

I remember the day when we confessed,
Confessed and it was bliss,
Our love for one another blossomed into,
something radiant and beautiful,
And even though we werent together i knew,
That our souls were meant to be together,

And with the flicker of a single star,
it all came to a heartfelt truth,
Love had been made, and lives were changed,
Together, yet so far, nothing more was needed,
And there i stood, waiting for my chance to shine,

Days, months, a year had gone by,
And finally a chance to uphold this truth,
And on that day, hearts were dismissed,
Shattered and torn, i remain broken,
Lost within false hope,

And so i plea, give me just one chance,
With your hand in mine let me shine,
Let heavens truth show you the way,
See that i need you, see that i ache without you,
My heart grows cold without you,

I miss our laughs, our silly conversations,
I miss having you there when i need you most,
I miss being the one you trusted in,
I miss the little hearts you would send me when i was

down,
And now im here without you and life seems,
Like theres nothing but pain again,

Truth is three little words,
We all wish to hear truth,
But when there is no truth,
Life is nothing but one big lie....
