--(Utterly Useless--)
Have you ever said something that would be considered as putting yourself down, but it doesn't make you feel down? Like your pointing out a flaw about yourself, and your not laughing at yourself, you just kind of say it? And people are like "Aww, don't say that..." Or "That's not true!" But you know it's true and it doesn't bother you or you just don't care. Or maybe you find kind of interesting. People are trying to make you feel better when you don't even feel bad in the first place. Perhaps it bothers you that they disagree and are trying to change your mind about it because it makes it seem like it's something you should feel bad about? Perhaps you don't see anything wrong with it but others frown down upon your behaviour? They say you are putting yourself down when you know for a fact your not. A matter of fact you may think they are putting you down for saying that. That they are basicly claiming that you are wrong and your behaviour, hell even your way of thinking/viewing yourself, is something to be corrected. What the hell does it matter if you feel fine, or maybe even good about yourself because of this behaviour. Did they ever think changing these 'habbits' might make you miserable?
