Valia Princess of Exryan woke up just like any other day. All her life she heard news of a new war starting and all she could do was stay in the castle and don't go outside.
At least she had her friend Andrew to teach her battle skills, even thought she'd never use them. "Valia.... come on its getting late you need to sneak back in before the guard change" whispered Andrew.
"Oh alright! alright! I'm going" Valia knew she needed to hurry but she hated staying in the castle all the time. I'll see you for the next lesson in two days right Andrew?"
"No, Valia your father said it's time to go back to war again" Andrew said as he helped Valia into her Window.
"Be safe" was all Valia said as she closed the window.
Valia woke in the night she felt someone watching her, she looked around the room but there was no one. Well that's it for my sleep tonight Valia got up and walked the castle halls, she heard a some one walking down the hall and hid. It was just the Warlord going to her fathers meeting room .... Valia followed him. At her father meeting room Valia heard the one thing she always had speculations about.. her father was a greedy evil man who wanted everything and anything.
Suddenly the warlord got and stabbed her father! Valia put a hand over her mouth to quite her gasp and ran away from the door. She had to get out of here.. she never loved her father and her mother was dead so leaving was easy. Where would i go? . It didn't matter to her she didn't want the warlord to come for a prize ... her. Valia took her swords and some money and headed to the stables.
In the stables she suck to get her horse Nari. Just then a horn was blown and men ran to the castle while Valia sneaked out. Right outside the castle the warlord appeared. Nari reared and threw Valia off, but Valia landed on her feet with her dagger ready. " Princess i've been waiting for this for so long " he said as he made a grab for her. Valia ducked and slashed his shirt open but missed his skin.
" You brat now you will die as well" the warlord said as he made another attempt to grab her. The warlord got her skits and pulled her to him as Valia took her dagger and cut his thigh to the bone. Warlod made a cry of pain and fell to the ground.
"You, will never have me sir" Valia said as she stared down at him. Valia didn't think he was going to move right then but, the warlord grabbed Valia and put a knife to her neck.
" Brat I don't want you anymore i'll just end your life now" the warlord said as he pressed the knife deeper. Suddenly a man came from the woods and with lighting speed slashed the warlords neck. The warlords grip on Valia loosened and she was free. But all she could do was stare at this man. He was scarred from battle but also quite hansom...the one thing that kept her gaze were his ice blue eyes Who is this man? ......
