She is lust. She is the structure upon which love is built, without her love cannot stay strong. By herself she is a dangerous weapon, wreaking havoc in the hearts of many with her promise of temptation. She can tear apart even the tightest of bonds with a wink of her sparkling eyes, and can kill faster than the strongest military instrument ever created. She is present in everything, from the innocence of childhood memories to the murky passion of a warmed room in a cold winter night. However, her compainionship with love can tame her. She helps love prosper, for without her love would be meaningless, worthless. She is the passionate spark that ignites the flames that love inspires, the wonderous light that engulfs lovers in the pleasure they need to survive. The rose might be the symbol of love, but it's is the thorns that embody lust. By themselves they are an ugly being with only malicious intent, but when you look at the whole picture you realise that it just wouldn't be complete without them.
