A Dream...
Its been 2 yrs since my mom died and my dad is in complete silence. I haven't truly talked to him since the funeral, all he has done for me is given me money to pay off his lack of being a father. Ever since mom died dad went straight into his work and wouldn't you believe it, he became one of the richest men alive. I am alone except for my best friend, and my cat Butter. That is when the idea came... I would build the first underwater and above water roller coaster. The idea at first was quite insane i thought i had lost all sanity, but then it seemed possible i mean i wasn't like i didn't have the money. How in the world would it work though? Who in the world could i hire to build this. Shoot i didn't need any help i had my best friend to help me and i would learn what to do. Yeah, how in the world were we going to do this. I finally got the courage to ask for her help and she was so excited that it seemed as everything was going to work out great. Then i realized we had no skills to do this. Soooo i ask my boyfriend. He also seemed quite excited and we all jumped in and did our best to learn what it was going to take, of course this had never been done before so there wasn't much to learn from. I bought all the wood metal parts and underwater bridge parts we needed and saved for the welding and major parts. We started on our project in the spring so that we could hopefully have it done by winter. Day be day it was coming along. I had constructed a car like seat for the coaster that was closed in all around so that you didnt get wet, that way you could see all the fish and wildlife under the water. What was going to be hard was trying it out because it wasnt quite safe. So thats when we took a dummy and used it to see if the contraption actually worked. It took us till December 20th. Thankfully it hadnt snowed. Finally i took the chance i was going to ride. As i remember going under the water i saw so many different fish and stuff it was amazing and at the same time i was clocking it. The coaster went almost 80 miles per hour plus it was almost 3 miles long. It was completely black and it did circles under the water and above. It was made for two different people so that it was practically 2 different tracks. The next spring i opened it to the public. I will never regret doing this because of the joy it brought people when they rode it. The smiles and laughs it brought was amazing and i will always be amazed. The most amazing part was that my dad finally came out of his depression and spent time with me as a family. I will call my roller coaster MIRACLES for the simple reason that it was a miracle that it was ever built.
