Well, my trading was disabled so I guess I'll rant about that for my first journal entry..
I've been ranting to myself for the past hour about it so this will be a horrible mess and it'll be filled with incomplete thoughts because I've already completed them and I no longer remember what I said before..

First off I love how Gaia claims to stand by "innocent until proven guilty" because they only disable your trading and don't ban you. So that means they're allowed to punish just for having reasonable doubt.. If I remember correctly there was even a huge controversy over when that law was passed so police could search property without a warrant, and yet Gaia can do worse than that to us. They can not only search and watch us, they can punish us for doing nothing wrong.

Secondly in all of the cases I have heard NOT one single person was reimbursed for their trouble. They talk about inflation of the Gaian economy, they know it changes constanty, and yet they can't seem to realize that by disabling our trading pass we cannot trade, buy, nor sell in the MP. They can cost us millions in a day if you know what you're doing. Back in 06 when I followed the economy more (here) I just had to save up about 20k and I could do wonders. I legitimately traded, bought, and sold a number of items and in one day I made that 20k into 900k. Granted MC's usually ended up around 20k when the sealed envelopes were first opened, but regardless it's a big deal.. You keep your password in your clipboard to paste it in quickly to buy things up fast, and you refresh often to check prices. No need for cheating and going against the ToS using third party software. (Well, unless you include copy and paste in which case Gaia should tell me now so I can get the [censored] off this site and hate myself for being stupid enough to waste my time here on what STARTED out as a nice forum to talk about anime and manga and to get to know people..

So here I am, at Christmas time.. Making a lot of gold by playing booty grab (a legitimate game they set up) and I did so by finding lots of tanks (people in the aquarium forum, some make threads and have others with lots of high gold dropping fish post) and I averaged between 1000 and 3000 gold per game.. I found the games fast (thanks to those threads) and within a few hours I could make a few hundred thousand. If I was commenting and talking to others maybe a little less, if I did nothing but booty grab then definitely even more. I was actually saving up for something.. No, not an item for myself.. I was planning something else.. Something bigger.. But alas with no trading pass I can't even gift people..

So thanks again Gaia. You do a really good job, no wonder you have such a surplus and you can afford to keep a good team on great projects like zOMG.. Oh wait. What was I thinking? This is the third time I was scorn by you, and this is by far the worse. You didn't just get me, you got my family who shares a computer with me. Every time I work hard to earn what I have. I traded smartly after a lot of research into items (this was before your little graphs in the MP), I've played games like zOMG and I farmed on the, and I played booty grab. Every one of them have made you screw me over..

My first account (that I used.. my 03 one doesn't count since I never used it much) was hacked. I had heard you had great customer service and people kept saying they were hacked but you had granted them their items back. I swear those are posts you had planted because when I emailed you about it (this was before your newer ticket system with the website, this was when I had to email you back and forth) and I not only provided all the information you asked for, I listed a ton of items no one but me could have possibly known about since they were all hidden away in my storage (I used the trunk for homes as a storage too) and but you insisted I had to provide more. So I provided everything but the current email and password (my email was changed obviously.. Your system for changing email only requires you to know the password and that's not very secure at all) and you still did nothing about it. In fact you stopped replying about the issue and any time I emailed you about it you would only say "Please be patient." Now it's been more than 4 years and the time on the case has expired. You say you don't look into things that happened that long ago, I should of reported it earlier.. I [censored]ing did! And you didn't do anything about it..

The second time I got a hold of hacked/botted items. It wasn't on purpose, my friend said he was catching a lot of fish and was giving me/selling me some. We traded it while he was at my house, and then you decided I was botting with his account.. How about looking into the ip logs? He only ever used the same ip address as me a few times when he was using MY computer.. All his botting was done from another ip address, and his account had almost no connection to mine. Just shared cookies when he logged in on my computer, and the same ip once or twice.. Way to investigate. If you were the police our jails would be even more over crowded, and you'd probably just fix it by wasting more money and building more prisons.. Real great work Gaia.. With minds like yours running this generation I can't wait to see how the scarred children that is the next will do.. I'm sure all the problems you've caused won't have any effect at all.. The distrust in the system, the emotional scars of losing everything you worked so hard for, losing your friends, losing everything.. I'm sure the next generation will be happy to just work hard to make some money and to help the world run without any fear that it will all be taken away again, not for something they did but just because someone decided they were suspicious. I'm sure there won't be a huge group of people who will just cheat the system because they feel they'll be screwed over no matter what..

People say you like something more when you work hard and you earned it.. People always say you'll love it more if you worked for it rather than if I just got it for you.. And it's true, but that's the thing.. It also means it hurts more.. And it hurts less if you just have things taken away you didn't work hard for.. You're inspiring so many cheaters by punishing the innocent.. Sigh... u.u'' I'm so sick of this crap.
