There are reasons why everyone like it, and reasons why everyone dislike it. I LOVE it.
Let's begin!
Characters: They'r all right. A touch of comedy from Fuu with constant hunger even after eating more than pounds of food. And Mugen's will to challenge and defeat Jin. Two hyper and humorous characters with a calm and smart character blends a nice combination....I like it!
Plot: A young woman trying to find her father for revenge with two tag-alongs. Until eventually they come to a solution: They find their target and also have to survive through duels with enemies. Hmmm..for this one, it isn't GREAT but it isn't PANTS either. It's so-so for me.
Music: Really good. Gives me a tough, cold-hearted feel. As if nobody cares where their souls wander off to. It's modern-style music even when they are at Japan at the Edo-period. Good, I say.
What I really liked was the comedy in it, also with the anime gimmick. It certainly isn't like Lucky Star, where characters have HUGE eyes, it's normal. The fighting gets me pumped. Again, good!
