Thousands of years ago, the Idony clan left the technological advanced world in favor of a more peaceful existence. The rest of the world laughed at them as disappeared into the woods, never to be seen again. Or so they thought...As the world grew more and more advance, the people slowly began to forget about the Idonites. At the same time the population was becoming out of control; it became necessary to expend the cities' edges until the begun to shallow up the villages in the trees. Once more the people of the world came into contact with each other. The results weren't so pretty.
During their time in away, the Idonites had become one with nature. The natural world welcomed them, and been accepted them like it accepted no human being before. A treaty of sorts developed between the Idonites and Earth, so when the City Dwellers threatened the woods and all that lived in the trees, the Idonites took a stand to stop them.
The City Dwellers had long ago forgotten how to act in nature; to them it looked as if the Idonites were using magic to protect themselves, not skills that have been around longer than the robots and toys of the City Dwellers. Paranoia and fear ran through the City Dwellers a they begun to learn more and more of the existence of the Idonites and the "magic" they used. People started to call them witches while their minds saw plots that weren't really there. And that was when the war began: A war against the City Dwellers and the Idonites.
Seventy-five years have pasted and there is only one Idonite village left. Their skills do nothing against the machines that the City Dwellers have under their power. Yet the City Dwellers refuse to see this, instead they can only see a village of witches that need to wipe out. Now the remaining Idonites live in fear of being found. Their only hope is that Marcabee is never discovered.
