Alright another Civilization post. I started tryping to play Noble with 7 other players, and while I've got the hang of city matanence I just can't expand as fast as the AI does. Leading to recourse deprivation. And I was put into a war agaisnt Russia and Greece. This was a pre-modern war, with just Infantry and Tanks, but you know what I had, Camel Archers >.< Yes Camel Archers.
However, I could produce 1 Camel archer per turn in each city (except two of them with per puppet cities used only for gold)
So I fought them off my territory, and entertained the thought of taking a city....needless to say I had no chance of that. Eventually though we decalre peace. It's clear to me that no one wants to give me gunpowder...but once we reach modern times guess who has uranium. So, consenting to the fact that I'm to unadvanced to win an a war and I'm to small to produce enough culture to covert cities. I look to my strongpoints:
My production speed is unthinkabnly fast
I have the money to rush any productions I wish.
I have the third largest population on the map(all my cities had 22 where the average of my enemies was 16)
And....I have nukes.
So what did I decide would be my victory tactic, Diplomatic victory by popular vote. Mainly, my vote being more then all the remaining nations XD
So I go talk to my friends the Egyptians...I would ahve to nuke them too sadly but allas, whatever it takes to win, and just for the heck of it, I ask if they'll just give me the map as a gift.
To my suprise they do.
I was so moved by this kindness I decided that I wasn't going to Nuke Egypt, they were true friends.
Unfortunatly with 100 turns to go to diplomatic votes Russia and Greece decalred war on Egypt, and I was all like "No! I'll save you!" My camel archers put up a good defense, and the nukes slowed them down, but eventually Egypt lost, and they took one of my cities to I lost the diplomatic victory >.>
