Nikore is, in fact, the most boring person on earth.
What kind of toast did Nikore eat for breakfast? How much DID Nikore's cat shed on her favorite shirt? Is it true that Nikore's shoes are untied? You can find all that and more, right here!
Looking back on Gaia, three years later.
Damn, this site has changed. After my 1,079 days of inactivity, I randomly decided to log in. To be honest, I'm surprised I still have an account. I am sad for what it was; grateful for what it turned me into. You guys, old EDers, taught me how to formulate an intelligent argument. Those skills got me into a good college, which turned into a solid degree in computer science. I'm old and boring and have a pretty solid career now. (Well not that old. 24. But by this site's standards, that is now ancient...)
I was privileged to know you all, EDers, 'prominents', whatever the ******** you're called now. I'll just call you the old guard. We had some great discussions, and I hope at some point I am fortunate enough to meet a group of people even half as interesting as you fine folks. I miss all the fun I had with you all. All the people I miss are older now too, and it looks like most of my friend list hasn't even logged in for years. I guess I really never got back into it after my stint with carpal tunnel problems. I guess that's how it goes.
If any of you are left to read this, I just want to say thanks. For the good times, for the arguments, for putting up with my cutting and hopefully at least somewhat amusing rants. Much, much love to you all. Should any of you ever end up in Cleveland, we ought to go to lunch. If you want to get ahold of me, my new addiction is Facebook. I'd love an add from an old friend. Just put your screen name in the message.
