Elle Oh Elle
So, this year, on Pluto, and I know what you're thinking, "Pluto, but it's just a rock, isn't it?" No, it's not, not this time. This time it is the location of the Winter X Games, and they have a special guest, called Awaken The City. They made their way from the bottom straight to the top, which in itself is pretty amazing. Shaun White was there, too, shredding the slopes, because he's Shaun White, and that's what he does. All of a sudden, Paul, Destroyer of Worlds, showed up out of nowhere, and didn't break anything, amazingly. That's usually what he does, destroy planets, annihilate entire civilizations, etc. All the members of Awaken The City were there, except for Trey, the bassist, he who didn't even have his own car, promised to make there on his own. Doubts were high, exceptionally high, since this is Trey we're talking about.
Shaun, being the amazingly famous athlete he was, was in the process of tearing up the course, when Paul decided to drop in. Paul, however, was huge, after all, he destroyed planets for a living. In half the time it took Shaun to reach the middle of the course, Paul was finished, and ultimately disappointed. Then, with a deafening shriek, Trey flew into sight on Rayquaza, yeah, Rayquaza. Now Awaken The City could start playing their set, after everyone got over the fact that Trey actually made it. A few people placed bets on whether he would make it or not, many people were suddenly less financially sound upon Trey's arrival. His only comment on the matter was the following: "I never knew how much I hated space-travel, until I taught Rayquaza to use Fly. He only has one speed setting, fast, so I ended up dodging asteroids and solar flares. I hate space-travel." Trey got over it and went off to start the set with the rest of the band. Ross Landry, who plays the keys for Awaken The City, had this to say, "We're so lucky to have made it this far, when you look at all the bands and musicians that are just starting out. They want to be able to do what we're doing now. My advice to them is to never give up on what you want to do. Other than that and what I've already said here, I can only add this one thing: No! No matter how many people want us to, we will not be playing Stick Stickly." Now, back to the story.
Shaun White completed the course, after nearly being crushed by Paul, the professional boarder could only give one comment before making his way to the stage to introduce Awaken The City. His few words were quick and to-the-point, "This is awesome!" A large crowd had formed in front of the stage, growing impatient waiting for the show to start, began to jump and shout as Shaun walked up to the microphone to welcome the band. "I'm sure you're all ready to watch the cool guys standing behind me, I know I am. They're called Awaken The City, and this, this is going to be brutal." He quickly ran from the stage as the band began to play. The crowd was made primarily of local natives, among those in the 'Space Yeti Moshpit' were Austin Martinez and Ethan Castille, practically obliterating anything not paying attention, sleeping, or just plain dumb enough to stand in their way.
After the concert was over, word had just reached everyone that Pluto wasn't technically a planet anymore. A Space Yeti rampage ensued shortly after, this served as a signal for everyone to leave, and never come back, ever. So, in record-breaking time everyone, except for Trey, had piled into the bed of Slade's truck. After the hour drive to Mars, everyone began to celebrate an exciting conclusion to the winter sporting event. Trey, who had arrived before everyone else, was already having fun with the local Martians, who had recently been introduced to hardcore dancing, thanks to Trey. Ethan was doing, well, whatever he was doing at the time, I've yet to find a suitable name for it. Either way it was a party, everyone was having fun, even Paul, who wasn't the easiest guy to have fun with. Austin trolled just about the entire time, until it was over, when everyone left and went home. Excluding Trey, who had fallen alseep in a random crater, and woke up the next day with a tattoo of Ethan on his leg, that he didn't remember getting. Now, to convince everyone that Pluto's still a planet.
