Thanks to the WPA compatibility of the new Pokemon game, I discovered the benefits (and stupidity) of the GTS and the amazing technological wonder that is Wi-Fi trading.
6/08/11: Done! Missing some event Legends, but those don't count, thankfully. biggrin

Shell smash 'n sweep. In case of electric attacks and thunder waves, I switch to Garchomp. Milotic switches into anyone suspicious of holding a priority move or into potential Toxic/Burns. He also counters any lethal ice attacks aimed at Garchomop.

Turn 1: Follow Me + Sword Dance. Clefable absorbs most attacks while Garchomp sets up.
Turn 2: Protect + Earthquake. Severely damages or OHKO's most opponents.
Turn 3: Switch to Gengar + Another Earthquake.
In the event of an Ice team, I use T-wave on the faster opponent (it saves my team from Froslass) and switch Garchomp to Infernape. Works most of the time.
Flying teams are annoying but they're nothing Outrage and Thunderbolt can't take care of.
There's more flaws (ex. Sleep status, fake-out, etc.), but I try to use pokemon I've already bred instead of breeding a brand new team. Thriftiness ftw.
Battle Subway highest streak: 42
If only that Stone Edge didn't miss that Durant, I would've won...
I hate it when my Tyranitar faints after an onslaught of bulky Ice types appear *makes a death glare at Walrein*.
6/04/11: Finally beat 49 in a row.
I replaced Tyranitar with Cloyster who pretty much annihilated everything in its path with a more accurate Icicle Spear and Rock Blast. Milotic and Garchomp, you guys were awesome as well. ^^
Now to work on a Double Battle team.
6/07/11: Not bad for my first run with my new team! 44 wins--probably could've been more if I had remembered that Cryogonal had Levitate... gonk
Mortal enemies include Walrein, bulky Ice and/or Grass types, Hail teams, Blissey, evasion n00bs, and opposing Levitators. Brb gonna switch Fly for Smack Down. scream
Rock Slide, stop missing during the critical times... stressed
6/13/11: Trying out a new team featuring good 'ol Cloyster. Weather teams are screwing up my previous Sandstorm team. gonk
New mortal enemies: Quick Claw Wailord, fast Rock Sliders, Fake-Out, Sleep/Paralyzers (I laugh in the face of Toxic/Burns. Mu-ha-ha-ha~ ). Oh, and Ice teams.
6/16/11: Now that the Guildwork is complete, I have more time to play. Psych Up Mesprit hasn't been working out so well...she's ok, but I need something with priority, speed, and strength that won't be OHKO'd by a single Ice attack *stares at Garchomp*.
I'm thinking either Infernape or Lucario...leaning more towards the former.
6/20/11: Re-arranged my team. Going to use the same Clefable the Punching Bag strategy, but I removed Cloyster, moved Garchomp to his slot, and re-taught him Swords Dance.
Infernape has been a great asset to the team (I enjoy watching Walrein die in one hit~), so he's staying on the team. Shame he can't switch into anything except STAB'd Blizzards, but that's what he was bred to do.
After Milotic lost a stall war with a Resting Musharna, I decided to replace him with a Gengar. He can switch in to Garchomp's Sword Dance-boosted Earthquakes or into any lethal Fighting moves aimed at Clefable.
Going to need two DS's and my Soul Silver game so I can breed him~
6/22/11: Haha, victory! >u>
I did get pretty lucky a couple of times since I dodged many lethal Blizzards and almost lost due to bad prediction...but overall my team was very successful. ^^
Yeesh...what am I supposed to do now? I guess I can aim for higher streaks, but I can't upgrade my trainer card any further without another Gen V game and local wireless.
Oh well, I'll figure something out~
