As time passed, what the gods of Gaia feared was coming true. The barrier between the dark dimension, which sealed the dark gods and their minions and Gaia are weakening. It was slowly cracking as the barrier weakened from some unknown force. From the breaking cracks rips tore between the three dimensional planes. On Earth people started to slowly disappear as the cracks broke through. It dragged those unsuspecting people into either the dark dimension or on Gaia. However most ended up on Gaia with no way to get back home. They were stuck and forced to live on this world wishing they could go home one day. Turmoil slowly spilled onto all three planes of existence. But Gaia was suffering the most. For the rips were mostly appearing in this world. People were brought in from both the dark dimension and Earth but none of creatures on Gaia were sent to either planes of existence. It was a strange phenomenon that the gods couldn't even understand. It just seemed that chaos was fast erupting across the world once more.
However due to the chaos that was slowly erupting, eight dark deities manage to slip through from the cracks and rips in the dark dimension. But their dark leader was still trapped within the confinements of the dark dimension as well as a good portion of their comrades. They still needed the fragments to form the key to unlock the gates and bring their brethren back to the lands of Gaia. The eight deities that escaped, were eight of the dark elemental gods. The dark deities of fire, water, air, wind, thunder/lightning, metal, light and dark had all escaped from the confinements of their imprisonment. They wanted to have fun on Gaia once more. But they couldn't yet, not until their dark leader and the rest of their minions were free from their prison,. But to accomplish that they need the five fragments that were trapped on Earth. Problem was they couldn't access Earth. Things were brought in but never returned.
Meanwhile the fragments almost sensing the turmoil in Gaia and fearing for its power being used wrongly, vanished from their hiding spots. Instead they thought that perhaps being placed in human beings, would keep them from being used by the dark deities. So the fragments randomly chose five teens on Earth. They melted into the teens and they weren't any wiser. They continued on with their lives. However with the fragments now located inside of the teens, new abilities were developing for them. The abilities of fire, water, earth, wind and spirit corresponding with the fragment hiding inside their body. These abilities manifested on strange occurrences and the teens decided to keep it a secret and continue with their lives or as normal as they could be.
But one day it all changed for them as another rip appeared. The five teens were sucked into the rip and thrown into the world of Gaia. It seemed that the fragments were back where they belong. Just hidden within the bodies of the teens who became the fragment keepers. However the dark deities felt a fluctuation in power and knew what they desired was back in Gaia. They just needed to find the fragments. Now these teens have just been thrown into a world not like their own. Everything is run by magic and they are only just learning about their gifts. However like all those before them they were trapped on Gaia due to the constant rips. With no way home, they are forced to adapt to their new lives, while finding that pathway to get them home. While trying to stay alive and protecting what has been gifted to them, from the dark deities. So their task has become even more challenging, then those trapped in this world before them. Will they go home? Will the dark deities gain access to the fragments? Will they free their dark master? Or will they be sealed back into the dark dimension? What about these strange fluctuations that are happening and tearing rips on Earth, Gaia and the dark dimension? What is the cause of them and who is behind it?
