I've noticed this happening at my church many times before. It's crazy how often they do talk to each other. There are four candles around the altar that converse in smoke signals. They actually take turns talking too! It's like morose code via smoke, every puff is a dot and every momentous flicker that makes you think it could possibly blow out is a dash. There's still air up on the altar so I don't think that a breeze could be affecting them. I guessed it may be a fault in the consistency of wax that makes them shoot small puffs of smoke and flicker often.

What if the brother that made these candles wanted to write his life story in smoke morose code so he did it by altering the wax and wick? That would be tediously amazing!

Would you do something like that?
