My self worth is not based on the opinions of others, or on my own opinion but on the eternal. Only that which lasts forever and is above us can give us any self worth. Let us get our minds off the temporal and onto the eternal, onto what truly matters. Let us gain our self worth back by turning to the only one that can give it to us.

Let us then reflect upon ourselves and on our actions. Let us examine ourselves, let us consider our ways. Let us not be found wanting. Let our houses be repaired. Come and be made holy as He is holy. Do not turn back a shy eye upon your ways. Do not hide them in the darkness. Remove the plank from your eye. Test everything and keep the good. That you may be perfect, thoroughly furnished into all good works.

Let those who follow the ways of Christ know that in your suffering is not waste, but is good. In your suffering for Him, you shall also reign with Him. As He suffered for you, let us suffer also for Him. Remembering always that His grace is sufficient. Though you may be weak, He that is in you is strong. So let your suffering not be a thorn, but a treasure to cherish. Not to put you down but to raise Christ up for the salvation of man and the furthering of His kingdom. Let not your suffering be in vain.

Know also that in your suffering you are strengthened. As iron sharpens iron and a fire strengthens wood, so does the troubles of your life strengthen your resound and your soul. Let your blade be sharp and your steel be hardened to withstand even the strongest blows. Let us glory in our troubles. Knowing in your troubles is strength. Let us not run and break but remain and be strengthened, for our blacksmith is one who knows His steel. As the poet once said:

"How many anvils have you had," said I,
"To wear and batter all these hammers so?"
"Just one," said he, and then, with twinkling eye,
"The anvil wears the hammers out, you know."

So allow us to be forged by the anvils of Gods Word by the beating of worldly pains. Let us stand as more than conquerors. Loving righteousness for righteousness sake.

Pray continually, Teach boldly, and Love earnestly.
