Inspiration turned Fiction
I'm bored and interested in writing, that's all the reason and the description that I need for this...
Part Three
A smile crossed his face as he watched the scene in front of him; the wedding of his first and only child. Pallavi Evangelia Vroli, at the age of eighteen, was marrying one of her childhood friends. Biron de Maria. The couple had started going out when they were both sixteen and had made the decision to make the final plunge in their relationship last month. It wasn't hard to arrange the wedding when they had everyone from the Revolutionaries pitching in to pay for the important event.

Speaking of the Revolutionaries; everyone from the group was in attendance. Including Eric. He was in the back of the cathedral, watching the couple with obvious pride in his eyes. The man was happy for the both of them. And happy in the fact that he had lived long enough to see this moment happen in the first place.

None of them had expected to survive the battle with Synthesis. Especially their former employer.

"Fayth, I feel like it was just last week I was changing her diapers. I can't believe she's already getting married." Ash elbowed him in the side; telling him to quiet down as the most important part of the wedding arrived. The Priest was overlooking the young couple with old, wizened eyes and looking for the smallest amount of hesitation. Pallavi and Biron seemed ignorant of his search as they looked each other in the eyes.

It was like the rest of the people in the building didn't exist and they were the only ones there. He could almost hear Caryn squealing at how cute the scene was and Aaron remarking about how old he felt watching his son getting married. To be honest, the man could sympathize with his former comrade as he felt much the same way. Except he was far more accepting of the fact.

His time with Ash had changed him from that impulsive, woman-seeking youth into a logical, content middle-aged man. A few of his friends thought the change was positively shocking and he couldn't blame them. In his youth, he would've never thought it was possible to become the man he was today. He would've never even considered the possibility of having children or getting married to Ash Burrows of all people. Alas, love works in mysterious ways.

Then came the question. The one question that would forever entwine the futures of two young adults.

"I do." Pallavi's answer left him feeling like a weight was lifted off his shoulders. Because, in spite of everything, he knew that Biron was much like his father. Reliable. And he could trust the safety and happiness of his daughter to him.

---

Pallavi's heart was racing as she looked into the eyes of her lover, seconds after having made the final agreement to marry him. Her entire body was numb from all of the adrenaline that coursed through her veins. And the already impossibly fast heartbeat increased that much more as he replied with the very same answer. Her face was as bright as her Uncle's pink hair as her husband pushed back her veil and looked her in the eyes. Really looked into her eyes without the veil between them.

Biron's kiss left her feeling dazed and lightheaded, such was her love for the man in front of her. The second he pulled away from her, she moved in and kissed him for a second time. Except she pressed herself against him and made the kiss so much deeper than before. All the people in the cathedral screamed their congratulations, throwing rice and confetti. Even her distant Uncle Eric was cheering for them.

In the back of her mind, she acknowledged this as one of the happiest moments in her entire life.

---

Cianel closed his eyes as he was overcome with weariness, the content smile on his face never leaving as he leaned back into his seat. He was reminiscing over the years and Pallavi's childhood in particular. The day he taught her to ride a bicycle, her first day at school, her first report card, her first day in learning to drive the Triple Point... so many precious memories that he wouldn't trade for the world. This was just another one in the long list that was Pallavi's life.

He was pulled from his thoughts as someone tapped him on the shoulder. Lazily, the blunette opened his eyes and looked at the minor annoyance. Syvilt was looking at him in understanding. How could he know the way he fe-... oh, who was he kidding? This was his best friend! Of course his best friend knew how he felt!

Syvilt smiled. "Come on, lets get a drink at the bar. I think you can use a bottle of whiskey."
