Today is my little brother's 22nd birthday. He's been back from Iraq for almost a quarter of a year and he hasn't called, text, sent a pm or email... nothing. I'm rather bummed, but I can't do much about it. I've tried reaching out, yet it goes unnoticed. I shouldn't take it to heart, I know, but it sucks that he doesn't even say hi or anything. Hell, I tried my hardest in the ways I can to send protection his way while he was overseas. *sigh* I just don't know.

I've been thinking a lot about college and a career path. I can't stand to just have jobs my whole life... I really need a career. I'm excited to be going to two college open houses soon. It's a step in the right direction! I'll decide if the career I'm seriously considering is the right one after these open houses. I want to make sure everything is good for me before rushing in to anything.

I doubt anyone even really reads these journal posts of mine, but thanks for reading if you are. lol
