A Grand Battle Amongst Elements
The sky dawned a bright blue color that was smeared with orange, red and pink. The ground half shadow with the remaining night and half lit with the uprising sun. Shade of a healthy green crossed over the land to show the vibrant beginnings of summer. The canvas set and the colors in their prime, a battle was about to rage. The wind blew through the vibrant colored trees, causing the green leaves to break free of it's home and scatter into new place. Animals of the area could sense in the air the tension of what was going on. In a desperate hurry, they ran along the roots and into the depths of the forests, leaving the clear plain for the battle field. A deer-pig quickly ran into the brush as the wind seemed to cease, yet another sign of a battle about to go on.
Wind ceased and the air tense there was just one more thing to do. On each sides of a large battle field, air clear and ground open. Upon the side lied a river, empty of fish and just the running water, the only noise beside the distant sound of leaves falling across the ground and breathing. Two pairs of breath. Both very meditated and relaxed. Full of control and ability. Energy surged through their veins as the easily controlled how it would flow. Sharp eyes closed and focused. Standing in stances that came from their own lands, teachings they had learned from their masters.
Upon the left of the field stood someone with long black hair that reached all the way down their back even in a high ponytail. Red dressed the body and was tight upon the legs and the arms. Shoes a ashy black and prepared for any burn. Across the chest rested a design that represented the home. The fire nation emblem. The way the body curved and the light look made an obvious suggestion that this fire nation born was a female. A very young one at that. Eye lashes long and eyebrows thin, black as ebony. In her heart burned a fiery passion the heart of a true fire nation one.
Across the battle field lied her opposite. Composition of the body was heavily built with muscle and strength. Short, sandy brown hair that covered the top of the head and barely covered an eye in the breeze. The clothing was loose and easy to maneuver in, feet were bare and as strong looking as the rest of the body. The green of their suit blended well with the yellow ribbon tied around their wast and the ends resting, one on each leg. A hat rested upon their head that was a very wide cone shaped and close to the forehead rested a symbol. The Earth Kingdom emblem. The expression upon their face was tense and showed true passion, a quality of the earth kingdom people. From how well built the body was and the shape of it, the obvious thing to tell was the Earth Kingdom born was a male.

The sharp eyes opened at the exact same time as the scanned each other for possible weaknesses. The wind began to blow, carrying the faint scent of pinewood and forest life. More of the leaves left their homes to travel only so far away. The count down had began for a grand battle between the two, to determine who was the strongest. The girl from the Fire Nation or the boy from the Earth Kingdom. Both very strong civilizations that had often quarreled and never honestly got along. A battle to see who was better.
The wind grew and grew before slowly, slowly, it's blowing began to cease. The trees rattling quieter and quieter as less leaves left home. And has soon as it had began was as quickly as it ended. Silence was cast upon the area once more, only the vary faint sound of the two's breathing was heard. The breathing soon stopped, but only for a moment as the two acknowledged each other. Stances widening, preparing to go.
The Earth Nation boy took his first step.
The battle started.
The Fire Nation girl was ready and she closed her eyes to prepare for his attack as the earth began to shift, she felt the movements and reached out her arms, two fingers directed at a diagonal towards the sky while the other focused on a large rock flying towards her along with the ground shifting beneath. Breathing in and then out a lightening strike, blue and hot, blew away the rock and left crumbs, but the ground underneath still head for her and as she opened her eyes, she jumped, spun and landed swiftly away from the rock and she took another stance and blew fire in the Earth Kingdom boy's direction.
The boy, not as agile as the girl, pounded the ground with his fists and raised it up, making a tall rock wall around him, and once the fire had hit it, without a seconds hesitation, he punched the rock wall and a large disc went flying towards the fire girl.
Gasping in almost surprise, she quickly blew it away, but not with fire, but with air, a cool breeze blew as she did so, and quickly, she sent a slice of air towards the earth boy, quickly sending another, perpendicular to the other she sent. The slashes sliced through the air towards the Earth boy, still not the fastest.
Then, something incredible happened, the earth boy waved his hands and a wave of water came up from the river and made and ice wall around him, the air slashes could only make small cracks. Were there now two Avatars?
