It has started. My frugal side is coming out and it only comes out when I’m shopping. At the moment I’m focused on getting as many free samples as I possibly can. I guess the reason that this started was because my mailbox was so empty.
It’s lonely and sad that it doesn’t get mail from me and yet other people in this household do. So that’s where free samples come in. I started thinking about how back in the day samples used to come in the mail all the time. As a child I loved to keep the mini lipstick samples and the small bottle perfumes. Even till this day I still have some because there were a lot that I got.
Anyway, getting free stuff is always awesome. A person can try out products without spending their money and realizing they didn’t like it. It also helps that with every sample of a product they usually come with a dollar off coupon.
Sometimes if you look harder, you can find awesome deals like a free bag of chips if you go to so-and-so, free ice coffee at so-and-so, a free meal, free clothing, etc. Most of these deals and free sample you can get by following the facebook pages of products. Why? Because sometimes when they come up with new products they have a giveaway for the first 500 on a certain day. Or they do a special promotion in which the first 5,000 people can request a free sample of it. You can always be up-to-date about these things by following them and be one of the first people to try them out.
