I’m so happy and amazed that Supernatural has been renew for a season 8. I’ve been a fan of the show ever since the pilot. I and many fans have never expected for it to last this long. There have been moments when we weren’t sure. The big suits were concern about not having enough viewers/high ratings in order for it to keep going. But fans pull through and manage to find ways to voice their love for the show and to tune in whenever they could.
Even though I wasn’t all that please with season 7. To me, it seems to lacking that certain oomph that the previous seasons had. But I’ve read some articles about how season 8 of Supernatural is returning to the path that fans are familiar with.
Former Jeremy Carver, who served as executive story editor and then co-producer of Supernatural from Season 3 to Season 5 is taking over for Sera Gamble. As well as fan-favorites Ben Edlund and Adam Glass are returning. What’s also different is that Supernatural season 8 premieres Wednesday at 9pm on this fall. The change from Friday and Wednesday is to help keep it going because Fridays are known to be a graveyard for shows.
