Ellion :: Story
xxxxxxxxThe other gods feared her, the humans who lived above ground worshiped her, however. Pluto had created the Ultimate Being. Her beauty was above that of Venus, wisdom above that of Minerva, power above that of Jupiter. Her lust for bloodshed was even above Mars, who desired nothing but chaos and bloodshed. Her wings were angelic but black as night. Her pale skin almost as white as the beautiful corset dress she wore that reached the floor in the back but rode above the white and black matching garter. Her pale blonde hair was as fair as her skin, and never longer than her elbows. Her eyes and lips as red as blood. To top it all off, her bleach white shoes laced up to her knee with a small heel on the bottom of her shoe. Amazingly, with all the bloodshed, she never got a single drop of blood on her. She is immortal, but she can be killed like any mortal. That is her one and only weakness. She is Ellion. Her name has no meaning, it is unique to her, neither Roman or Greek. She, Ellion, is not only the creation of Pluto, but his daughter as well. xxxxxxxxHer silk like wings shined in the rising sun as Ellion found her way back to the Underworld. The ferry man greeted her with a smile, she pushed her long blonde hair to the side of her shoulder and grinned. She could have pitied the man if she cared. "Salve." She knew the man spoke in Latin, and today she decided to be at least a little friendly. Her mother was getting to her, along with the summer air. Ellion acted like she didn't care, but Persephone knew how to make her care. The man never spoke back, but kept smiling as he rowed the boat along the river leading to Pluto's, and her, house. The house was nothing special, but the souls who have died gawked at it everyday. She laughed at the poor souls, but deep down she knew it was wrong. Ellion rolled her eyes. So what if it's wrong? I'm his daughter, it doesn't matter. xxxxxxxxShe reached the house and entered the front door. "Pluto, I'm back." She refused to call him her father. As far as she was concerned he was only her creator, not her father. xxxxxxxx"Welcome back, my daughter." Pluto stepped off his throne as Ellion entered the room. "How is the human world doing?" xxxxxxxxEllion kneeled before him out of respect. "Same as ever. Mother's and grandmother's work above has made the world warmer and has let the flowers blossom." She looked up to Persephone as her mother and Demeter as her grandmother. xxxxxxxx"Well, I'd rather have my wife at my side, but that cannot be possible at this time." Pluto was proud of his creation but he hated that she didn't even refer to him as her father. Together they could rule the world, but Ellion did not care for him, just as Persephone did not, like mother like daughter. Incest wasn't a problem either, they were not kin. xxxxxxxx"I'm off Pluto." Ellion stood back up and turned her back to him. xxxxxxxx"Take your leave then, daughter," Pluto paused, not sure what to say to make his daughter stay. He liked her company, even more so than Persephone's. Is that even possible? "I love you, Ellion." xxxxxxxxNot stunned by this Ellion walked out. "Created of bloodshed and lost souls I know not of the "love" you speak, father." Whispering to herself she knew he could hear. Why not amuse him? She almost felt bad that his love could not be returned. Then again, 'almost' doesn't count in the Book of Life.
xxxxxxxxWalking out she pitied her creator, but she could not worry about that now. She had a world to attend to. As evil as she let off to be, with her mother and grandmother she was a different person entirely. Upon meeting her grandmother, Demeter, Ellion had become a more gentle fairy of the Underworld. She had a respect for the environment she didn't have before. A blood thirsty monster before now turned into a nature loving fairy thanks to Demeter and Persephone. She smiled at the though of them. "Salve, Charon." She greeted the ferry man again. He just smiled her way and led her out of the Underworld to the thriving new world. "Vale." She smiled again and tossed her hair back thinking of the beauty that awaited her in the Human World Pluto rarely allowed her to enter. xxxxxxxxShe was grateful that Pluto had let her enter the Human World with her mother every so often. Even being the "daughter" of The Lord of the Underworld, Ellion did have a soft side, especially for some parts of the world her mother cared for. Ellion had become engrossed in helping Persephone and Demeter in growing plants and raising little animals. She was in love with rabbits, albino rabbits were her favorite. She loved their white furry texture and their blood red eyes. It was as if Ellion had been reborn from an albino rabbit. She asked Persephone is she knew how exactly she was created, but unfortunately only Pluto knew how, since he was her creator. She wan't sure if she could go on much longer like this. She loved helping her mother and grandmother, but she craved bloodshed and destruction, it was hardwired into her brain from the beginning.
