Precisely, so my statement still stands. Shadows only appear to drown out the light because we are used to the amount of pure innocent light we once harbored. But in reality, the only reason why the shadows were so diminished was because there was too much light. You cannot have a flood of light; vice versa, a flood of darkness. When the light falls back, the darkness seeps in. Not being used to the shadows, we are startled and unnerved. We take it as a negativity, but in reality, it helps us become more balanced. Yes, there are instances where darkness floods and that is indeed negative.
My point: we can only help regulate light and darkness into a balance. Shadows envelope light because the light is not cherished....so...yeauh...I apologize if this wasn't what you were thinking x3
