Airship captain/airship pirate
"Captain all systems are in tip top shape, and we're sailing at a comfortable thirty five knots." The small technician who was watching a large wall of lights, bells and whistles turned in his seat to address the man who sat dead center in the room. Dorian, the captain, nodded with a small smile on his face. Dorian drummed his fingers on his chair as he looked around his bridge at the part of his crew he had almost grown up with. The little pilot twins in front of him he had known since grade school, his stewardess, who stood next to him, was a cousin from the city, and the little technician boy was his best friend since he could remember. The only one who he hadn't known until he became captain of the newest addition to the imperium's reserve fleet was the weapons specialist who sat near a bunch of switches behind Dorian.
"It's cloudy today sir, our radar is bouncing back from the amount of particles so it's almost useless." The smaller of the twins spoke loudly. Dorian once again nodded as he stood and strolled over to the large viewing window at the port side of the ship. "There have been sightings of a lot of pirate ships in the area here, that's what were here to find out. But now I can see why they chose this area as a hideout, how do we fight what is almost impossible to see." He sighed and walked back to his seat. "First Mate Jenn, tell the crew to go on alert, and have guards strolling the deck of the ship. Send out ten of our best men to walk the area. Pilot, slow to twenty knots. All crew to their stations, prepare for the worst and the best."
The stewardess gave him a question look, "the best sir?" The captain nodded, "that there is only one pirate." The weapons specialist gave him a question glare, "Then what's the worst captain?" The captain sat down and gripped his seat. "That we've walked right into a trap."

When I think about all the years I've spent here,
The nostalgia hits like a freight train.
