***Back to Resident Evil***
I lay on the ground, my head aching. Why do we always crash? I look around the small plane we we're in and see that the others are basically already up. Jake is trying to open the door with the help of Chris. Sherry and Claire are next to Ada, the three checking to see if they're all ok. I'm near the front. As I get up, I realize Piers is missing. He was piloting when we experienced technical dificulties. Looking toward the front, I see that he's still in his seat. I go up to him. The seat belt's jammed.
"Don't move."
I grab my knife and start cutting him out. After a while, he's freed and the others have opened the door.
Piers,"Thanks."
He starts to get up, but is shaky.
"Piers, are you alright?"
He holds his head,"Yeah. Just give me a minute. I'll catch up."
I move his hand and see blood on his hand and in his hair. Putting his left hand over me, I put my arm around his waist,"Lean on me, and take your time."
He does, but we move faster than I figured we would. Chris sees this and grabs Piers' other side. Jake helps the others out as we walk to the exit. Chris,"Piers, what happened?"
Piers is still dizzy, but better than when he first got up,"I-I'm sorry about crashing the plane. It won't happen again Captain."
Chris gives a small smile as we both help Piers out of the plane,"That's not what I meant. How are you holding up?"
We help him to a nearby tree. We wound up crashing in the middle of the woods. When he's sitting against a tree, he replys,"I'm fine. I hit my head against the steering."
Sherry comes over and looks at his head,"The bleedings stopping. It's not as bad as it looks. He'll be light headed for a while, but other than that, he'll be fine."
