captain deep ran through the twisted roads, the navy's gunfire ringing in her ears.She looked up and saw her parrot fluttering in the breeze, guidingher to the ship where her crew of miscreates waited for her.She clutched the sacks of gold to her side, and grabbed a ladder, climbing to the scaffoldings above and then leapt froom roof to roof.the guns ceased momentarily as the navy searched for her.Or they were climbing the ladder to the scaffoldings only to catch her sooner?she didnt want to know.her sword gleamed, and she hoped not to use it.it was only a race to avoid the kings ships if she killed someone from the british kings navy.she could see the bay when the guns resounded once more.she couldnt stay on the row of homes any longer.she made a leap of faith to the other side, and continued running. the weight that had once clutched her ankle was heavy, and she hated having to carry it.but she finally saww her shance to use it.she came to the roof closetse to the bay.she used the weight to propell her to wards the docks.boards splintered as the weight crashed in them, leaving a gapin hole there. she got up from her knees which she had fallen to."hoist anchor!"she cried as she saw her parrot land on the shoulder of her first mate."Aye captain!"they all relpied, and captain deep ran for the port side of her ship.she leapt to it, and landed in a heap on the deck.the treasure map was still in the sack as she opened it.the adventure had only just begun...
