Guess I'll explain what this task is. Basically, I want to create my own edm music. I recently acquired a program designed for such a thing. That program is known as Fruity Loops Studio. It is essentially the ultimate musical instrument as it a musical synthesizer that can imitate nearly any instrument, a DJ's best friend. It also contains a vocoder which can imitate any pitch or sound in a voice. Additionally, it has a great many other tools; which I unfortunately don't have at the moment.
The reason I have picked such a tool to use is, my brother has also used it in the past, for his band, hipsters and the cool kids. Anyways, at the moment, I have absolutely no ******** the idea is how such a program works. But I have always been an adept student in anything I do. So I'm determined to master this as well. And you, my fellow gaians shall reap the benefits. You see, I don't just want to make edm music, I have always wanted to give back to gaia in anyway I can. So in addition to creating my musical career here, I also would like to improve on gaia's many dated musical themes on the site!
Currently, I've figured out how to layer and separate the left and right channels. I've also created the main melody of the song I'm creating. But the song has turned out to have two versions so I'm having trouble deciding between the two, so I'll upload them to YouTube later after I've finished balancing out the levels. More than likely I'll keep them both and they'll end up as independent songs.
Currently my set-up is as follows:
- I have my brothers old custom tower a core2duo 2.4 mhz processor one gigabyte of ram two 150 mb solid state drives A Creative SFX with SRS soundcard with two 2.5 mm Auxillary Inputs.
I have no MIDI Keyboard or Soundpad at the moment, but I plan to get one of those in the future. So for now I am limited to only 26 keys with my PC Keyboard...
