gaia_angelleft I finished my dinner and ran upstairs, nearly tripping over our cat, Mr. Bitey, sleeping on the third one from the top. I caught myself in time though, dashing down a short hallway to my room. I opened my door to see the familiar setup. My bed, cloaked in dark sheets, against one wall. A medium height, oak wood dresser stood in the corner toward the end of my bed. Nestled between the bed's end and the dresser stood a ceiling height bookshelf, completely filled with manga volumes from various series. In the other corner, straight across from the door, sat a high end gaming computer, on an oak desk, with a three monitor setup. On the desk was a copy of a Virtual Reality (VR) game called Sword Art Online and in a gift wrapped box next to it, I assumed, was a Nerve Gear headset. gaia_angelleft I closed my door quickly, excited to finally have what I'd always wanted. Sliding into my rolling desk chair, I spun toward my desk, tearing open the gift box with a big grin. As I'd thought, inside the box and under a layer of packing peanuts, sat the Nerve Gear. I took it out, setting it on the desk next to the game case. For the next five minutes I installed the software needed to run the headset. After that had finished, I put the disk into my computer, still bouncing with excitement. Taking the headset with me over to my bed, I laid down, took my glasses off, and slid the dark helmet on. gaia_angelleft "Link start." I said aloud, colors whizzed by my vision, then the room turned black as I entered the game...
Need to re-watch the first episode to remember exactly how it was to enter the game... or maybe they only showed that for Alfheim online... but here's some fanfiction or whatever anyways. rolleyes
