In the mountainous mountains and the deep forests with the wildlife all around, elves were always attuned to the naturalistic side of life and their understanding of animals. Crystallyne was born into this world of peace, prosperity and was originally a regular elf among her kind and family. As she grew older into a toddler, a darker side of her had become abrupt, it caused her to cry and complain of the agony she felt. Being so young she had no idea what was going on and it kept haunting her thoughts, a demonic being wanting to take over her and make her powerful. Her parents were afraid of what may happen and moved further away from the other people within the elven sanctuary to seek out what was bothering her internally. After becoming recluse and obscure from the other elves, the parents looked through their history in search of what may be the cause of Crystallyne's pain and suffering; only to find a lot of the relatives were this unsightly monster. Dark elves were not really the respected race among all the other elves and were usually the corrupted upon the sight, destined to be killed or used as slaves.
The more and more the parents searched and read, the more Crystallyne wondered off on her own to explore the world outside. She had so much fun with the wildlife all around her until she became threaten by a large demonic shade that appeared before her, her wailing cries of help brought the attention of a particular wolf to break through the shade and look over the child as her eyes were still close from all the tears she cried. The wolf licked her face and she settled down, giggling at the sight and spoke a new word out, "D---Do--Doggie!" Grabbing onto the wolf's ears, he was a little insulted at first but swooped up the child on his back and tracked back to the location this baby had came from. Approaching the house, the baby was asleep and the wolf noticed a door busted open, with the windows cracked. The wolf looked about the house, all the damage and blood everywhere of the family dead on the floor or where they sat to study more historical books. The wolf seemed to have a great sadness come over him, but he shook his head and pressed on to look about the remains. Unsure of what to do now, the wolf decided to take all he could hold without hurting the child and brought it all to his den.
The items contained a picture of the family, a letter that seemed important attached to that picture, a quiver with arrows, a hat and a bow where all that's was left beside the previous items. The baby woke up as the wolf laid out the belongings and then laid down to allow the child to get off his back, Crystallyne crawled off his back and then looked around in awe at all the sights. There wasn't much in the den and it was fairly dark but reasonably lit from the outside light. Crystallyne's life would never be the same from this point on as she was raised by the wolf and it's pack. Becoming the age of 10, Crystallyne learned a lot about survival of the fittest and learning how to adapt to the surroundings she was in, she had a lot of fun with her wolf comrades and the one that stood the most was the leader, who had rescued her in the first place. After much hunting was done to get food and other supplies for the wolves and Crystallyne, they went back to the welcoming den and set it all about. Crystallyne sat down by a campfire she made and stretched out a bit as the leader came to laid beside her. She turned and looked to him, "You know... You aren't too bad, I think I'm going to name you something. Would that be okay?" she spoke softly to the wolf, as he looked up to her and wagged his tail excitedly. Giggling at his reaction, she thought long and hard about her decision and perked up to the hunting they had just done, "I'll call you Hunter!" she exclaimed, the wolf seemed really excited now and nodded his head slightly that he would accept the name. "I'm so glad you do Hunter!" she said aloud, in her happiness and hugged him close.
Many years later had passed since the death of her family, Crystallyne was old enough to find out for herself what really had gone on. Looking upon the items that was left in her possession from Hunter, she gathered them up and looked to Hunter. "Do you remember where they were?" she questioned him as she made eye contact with the wolf. Hunter nodded his head and got up to walk out of the den. "Please, take me there.." requested Crystallyne as she got up on top of him. Without further reason, Hunter dashed off and came up to the house he remembered still so vividly. Abandoned and trashed, the house had an eerie sensation to it, but Crystallyne hopped off Hunter and looked about the ruins. She could not believe what she saw, she remembered so little of her family as she looked at the picture. Studying the note with the picture she felt miserable, she could not speak a word, just sat down and cried. Hunter came near to try and comfort her, she wrapped her arms around him, "Oh Hunter! I can't... I just can't understand..." she cried aloud, stuffing her face into his fur.
After sobbing for the little while, she took a deep breathe and looked further into the home. She went back to the front door and found a note stuck to it, picking it up and reading it over, she saw the letters, "LSA." Taken aback for the moment, she read it aloud, "LSA?" She looked to Hunter, "Who or what the hell is LSA?" Hunter scanned the room and shifted through a pile of books and brought the book to his master. Taking the book from his mouth, Crystallyne opened up the book, searched for the letters and read the contents. Boiling up with anger and frustration, she slammed the book shut and threw it across the room. "Dam them! Dam them all!" she shouted out loud, taking a breath to relax she continued, "Come Hunter... Let's go and seek out help.." as she walked out the door.
Crystallyne and Hunter, separated themselves from their pack and went out to adventure further out from beyond their home. Prowling around the new strange land, Crystallyne became more civilized to find out all the missing parts of her life. Just when all hope seemed lost for her and her companion, she came across from fascinating people who worked at a place called S:IV. Tracking them down, she was able to gather their attention and finally able to seek out the knowledge she acquires while becoming more furious with LSA.
