Annoyed with the little she had been able to figure out to this point, but still happy she had helped Dragon get her ears back (via making it possible for Chazu to remove them), rose was still perplexed about her own personal riddle.It had been a long time now since she had been kidnapped and her life attempted to be ended and her father to have gone missing. And no clues to the questions of why, what, who and how had come to surface.
rose locked the door behind her as she left her house. This time, she did not intend on going back until she had some answers... or even a little insight. Not truly set on where to start the search, she meandered across the property, heading in the general direction of the WTGR forum. En route, she came upon the rose garden. She grabbed the watering can that sat on a bench, and started watering the roses. Her mother had planted them, her father had told her, and they had all spent hours among them when she was little, he had told her. Too little for her to remeber, though. She circled around, until, her thoughts still meandering around aimless unasked and unanswered questions, she stopped in front of a white rosebush. She set the watering can down and brushed against the arm of a bench half-swallowed by the flourishing bush.

her mother and father laughed as they sat on the bench, as she held onto it with a tight grip. Ever so slowly, she moved hand over hand along the bench, trying to keep her legs beneath her. She grabbed a knee along her path, too, and her mother tickled her cheek gently. Moving along, the little toddler came to the end of the bench, but not the end of curiousity and the need to explore and to move. Baby rose reached for the next object to which she could cling as she tried to move along. Pain shocked the little girl, and she let out a panicked scream. Her parents swarmed in on her, trying to force her chubby toddler fingers out of their death-grip on the rose branch. Thye had been saying soothing words and moving quickly, but as soon as her hand released the bush, they grew still and silent. Stifling sobs only a little, rose looked at her parents, who were looking at her hand. She looked at her hand, but did not know what they seemed concerned about. Her hand had several tiny droplets of blood on it in many spots, growing, and starting to run along her hand. For a moment, the baby was calmed by the pretty swirls of blue and red. Then her father touched her hand, and the pain came back to the surface.

rose looked down at her hand. That wasn't something she'd remembered before. Her blood, for as long as she could ever remember, was a bright blue color. She remembered as a girl, her parents telling her to not ask why her blood was blue and not red, like the other childrens'. And she had stopped questioning it. But... red and blue... swirled? Not just blended, like purple, but, swirled? And since when had her blood ever been red, anyways?
she fiddled with a white rose, trying to think back, remember any more mention of her blood.
"Ow!" she exclaimed. She went to stick her pricked finger in her mouth quickly after pulling it away from the rose, but it stopped just inches from her lips. There on her finger was a tiny drop of blood. Red blood.
She backed away from the bush, now totally confused, and a little frightened. She ran off to the WTGR, though she knew that her friends would probably not be there, as they kept different hours than her. Still, she needed some answers. And no parent was going to tell her not to look for them this time.
