the door rattled and opened. the executioner patroled down the hall, and unlocked capt. deps cell. his hands were a bit bloody as if he had just finished off someone else. "you think this wise, mate?" capt. deep said. "trying to capture the most wanted pirate on the sea?"
"it worked didnt it?" he asked, his voice low and gruff.
"aye, it seems that way, but things are not always as they seem to you get me, mate?"
"no." the executioner replied.
cap. dep turned her sttention to nothing in particular, but mumbled. "xplains how you got this job then."
he grabbed her wrists. "come on!" he snarled. "your first. ill be back for all of you."
capt. deep could have laughed at the excectutioners stupidity. he had a dagger and keys within her reach. but not yet. first she was giong to be examined for anything she could use to escape. the room she was led into was no better than her cell. she was stripped of everything excet the clothes on her back. nothing else. she didnt even have her socks or boots. they offered her some perfume, as she reeked of all the smells you can imagine a pirate having. she refused, and the executioner led her to the gallows. she was on the opposite side of the dagger and keys now, but it wouldnt matter. she was taken out into the bright sunlight where the gallows lay, and people were gathered around to witnes her death.
