I got a pleasing talk from a gaia friend over MSN before I logged onto Gaia. He seems like a quality person and he is very nice. Or so I think. I guess this entry will be about internet insecurity.
Hmmm, where shall I start. Point 1, Online Dating. Lots of people do it, but I don't. It may be because just because I see a persons picture and I assume that it may not be them that I won't talk to them, or try to avoid them. I don't really like taking things for what they are over the internet.
Point 2, Online Marrage. Less people go to this state of relationship, but even then do you really know the person? If you feel this secure around the person, the chances are that the other may just acting this to get your password or such. Also, I went to a marrage thread to check it out. It turns out that both groom and bride were eleven! So I posted saying something about it and the reply I got astounded me. "Don't you know that this isn't real life!" I realize that Gaia isn't real life, but eleven year olds getting engaged!
Point 3, Cybering. Cybering is strictly prohibited on gaia, yet still it happens, I don't know of a case were this has happened, but a friend of mine was in a case similar, one of the ladies had asked him to cyber. Of course he denied the question and later reported the post. Well, I guess I close this point with this comment, it may be taken in some offense, but it is strictly only for laughter, if you don't find it funny, I apoligize.
