Finally arousing from her slumber, rose picked herself off the ground next to Chazu's front porch. She dusted herself off, changed clothes quickly, and went to knock on the door. It opened slightly, so she went in, closing it behind her.
She began to roam around cautiously, and found Kipper gnawing on a shoe.
"Kipper! leave it!" she said in a hushed but serious tone.
The mochi dropped the shoe and followed rose as she meandered around. She found Niko and Olay! curled up by a fireplace, and they, too followed after her. She turned the corner and found herself in the kitchen.
Starving, she yanked open the fridge. Looking at all the strange things in there, none looked appetising. She turned to the cupboards, and after finding practically nothing edible, decided to make cookies. She went cupboards to find a couple of mixing bowls, two cookie sheets, and measuring cups.
She make quite a rucus for a while, and then put the first batch of peanut butter chocolate chip cookies in the oven.
She sat down on a bar-stool at the counter and drank a glass of juice, waiting for the cookies.
