Well hey! It's been a while.
Just making a journal entry to mark this momentous occassion-- no, not a new GG Milestone...
I changed my Salon default hair!
I swapped my long time love in Girl's Bookish Blonde (Dark)
for the more modern and dark Girl's Braided Faux Hawk Pebble
Yeah, I know. I loved those golden locks. I spent sooo long saving up all my pretty pennies in 2009 or something, for those glorious yellow curls. I identify with them. They're me, and they have been for yeeears.
And yes it was a little impulsive of me to change it so quickly, and with relatively little deliberation. But the only reason for me not to change hair was if I just couldn't bear to let go of that hairstyle.
But I could. And here are my reasons;
1. I bought a shorter style primarily so that when I try things on preview in the marketplace, there's no long tendrils of hair obscuring the items.
2. I never use that blonde hair for avatars anyway-- much too gold shop-y, and I don't usually have blonde hair for my avatars anyway.
3. And gold shop items - including hair - are cheap as chips these days, so it really won't be hard or expensive to change back, should I want to.
So overall, despite the fact that it only took me a few minutes to make my decision, I don't think it was a rash one that I will regret.
After all...
