It's been awhile.
Where should I start? I've been working on coming up with ideas to better help the new hires that will eventually come into this department.
I have also grown very accustomed to my work environment and am enjoying myself. The pacing could be way more consistent and I wish I had more motivation to learn on my own, but without a mentor I am as lost as ever.
I make 69K officially a year, with a 8% differential for working second, that is about 74K a year. With the mandatory OT and other voluntary OT I think I make a gross 80K a year.
It's been 7-8 months and my paychecks are totaling 50K gross so far.
Career wise I'm happy for being a fresh graduate that still hasn't reach his first year of experience in the field.
On another note, I've lost about 30 lbs and I am much more fit just like my high school days. I've also been doing a lot more stuff too...including destroying my first car in a damn accident.
I'm relatively happy and I think I could be happier but right now I don't think I want to tread around females that I am interested in, I don't sound like I'm ready for another one yet.
********, what's another small project I can doo to help new hires..... UGH.
