So it's day 64 in quarantine and you know what? ******** it. i'm making the best of a bad situation. Im getting myself financially stable again and moderating my spending (i mean it helps that everything is closed but we wont talk about that). And i'm starting to eat better as well. I was eating alot of takeaways for awhile there and it was starting to effect me mentally and how i felt physically. i would eat this horrible junk food and would feel like utter crap after the fact. SO, i meal prepped some healthy food for the past week and i feel 10x better physically AND mentally. Eat good, feel better.
I went from eating one really bad horrible meal a day to eat 3 really healthy and nutritious meals with some light snacks in the middle. this is only day 4 of the meal preps and eating 'clean' but i can feel a difference in my energy and mood when it comes to physically feeling better.
Don't get me wrong- i feel trapped where i am right now. im stuck on a waiting list to go back to work, i want to move out of this god awful apartment that i literally have to sit here with headphones on just to block out noise, and i have no close friends or family nearby...but im feeling better because the one thing i can control (what i eat) is going well.
hopefully everything will work out and things will get better soon enough.
