"Dad..."
"Wynn?!" I exclaimed.
"I won't let them get him..."
"Chazu's safe because of you," I said. I thought to myself however, Although, what hijinks he's getting into at this moment who's to say if he's safe.
Muttering something that slipped into a snore, Wynn fell asleep.
No pulse and magic well depleted, I thought, lifting Wynn. By all rights she should be dead...Wynn what are you?
Leaving the compound, I used the water in the air to destroy the buildings. Finding the place where Wynn had entered, I saw Shalimar kneeling and grabbing her head with Rose feeding magical power into her.
"What's wrong?" I asked, suddenly on edge. "What happened to Shal?"
"She's not physically hurt," Rose said. "But I don't know what could be wrong."
Handing Wynn over to Rose, I gently grabbed the sides of Shalimar's face and forced her to look into my eyes. Within them, I immediately knew what was going on inside my daughter's head. "Rose, if not for you helping her, she'd be a lot worse off right now."
"Thank you," Rose said. Something in her voice caught my attention. "Is Wynn gonna be okay?"
"She'll be fine but we need to get both of them back to my house," I replied, picking Shalimar up. "Send a message to ANTIE to send the animals to my place and I'll send a message to Nissa to send a transport to pick them up. With all the hunters and slayers appearing in the area I don't want them caught."
Suddenly, I poofed into my full sized form...but still had the wolf muzzle. Oh ha ha Holly. When I get home, you're going to be put into observation with Wynn and Shal.
