So I'm pretty sure we were just eating Arby's, me and mah buddies, and these three people walk up like, "Can we have a bit of your time for a survey?"
Well.. survey, sure, what the hell.
"What do you think happens when you die?"
Sarah says you're dead.
I say you're dead.
Madi says you're dead.
So then he's like, asking what about our souls.
Sarah gives the both-side appeasing statement, saying that really what happens after your dead shouldn't be something you need to worry over, and just live life to its fullest.
I make the mistake of saying I was atheist and then had to explain why I chose not to believe in religion. (Which is, for you guys curious, because religion to me is too flawed and takes a great will of ignorance to listen to half the filth most are pouring into people nowadays.)
Madi agreed with Sarah, blah blah.
So then we get, seriously, a straight five minute lecture about accepting Jesus into our hearts.
I was biting my lip the entire time, wanting to laugh really really hard, but didn't. I should've, but that would've been really mean.
He kept going on about the word of God, about the Bible, all of this stuff he admitted he didn't know much about. It took every ounce of willpower to not:
A) Burst out laughing when he said the stereotypical "Jesus died on the cross for our sins!"
B) Burst out laughing at the general situation of it all.
C) Ask him the Christian mind-imploding questions that usually end up in them getting huffy and saying I'll go to hell.
EXAMPLE OF WHICH:
If A is B, and A wrote C, then C is B.
If man is flawed, and man wrote the Bible, then the Bible is flawed.
And don't give me that "GOD WROTE THE BIBLE" or "JESUS WROTE THE BIBLE."
First off, God didn't write anything but the ten commandments. And "lightning did that", fools.
Secondly, Jesus probably wrote down his teachings, but the Old Testament people use were hand-picked versions from different people by a Pagan emperor.
Bleh.
