I've been looking at inventory sales for the past few days. Most of them have pictures of the seller's inventory. Unfortunately, a high proportion of them are in .bmp format. That's just evil for people with dial-up Internet. I am one of them (at least during the holidays). sweatdrop They take so long to load. crying
The OMFG and Fire Gauntlet
OMFG is sort of cuter than the OMG. gonk And it's so much more of a clone than the BTK and AFK. O_o; Wouldn't you feel terribly ripped off if you spent a lot of money on an OMG in December, just to have the December 2004 Letters open to get an OMFG? sweatdrop
As for the Fire/Ice Gauntlets, I think the Fire looks nicer. whee But I doubt I'll participate in the Battle System when it comes out, so my interest in the Gauntlets are purely aesthetic. Then again, I said the same thing about Gaia Games, and I fish a lot. >_>
Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon
Waaaah! heart I finally watched all the episodes I borrowed from my roommate. I only borrowed up to episode 24, but it's getting so good! whee The first few episodes were exciting because of the introduction of all the senshi, but now it's getting more exciting because of the storyline. I couldn't wait for the next episode to begin. I like how it follows the manga storyline more than the anime, but at the same time makes the story its own. And Minako-chan is so cute! gonk heart The actress, I mean. She has big eyes and a really cute voice. xd
Boxing Day
*researches Boxing Day on Wikipedia* In case anyone reading this doesn't know what Boxing Day is, I'll explain it a bit. In Canada, December 26th is a day for major sales. The shopping malls are incredibly busy because of all the discounts. 50% off all items in a store is not uncommon. A lot of people (ie. the sane ones) simply avoid going out because of the crowds. It's a madhouse. domokun So, of course, me and my family went out to shop. xd Yesterday my sister bought a whole new computer because her old one is kind of faulty. >_> What did I get? Um, her leftovers. Since her new computer came with a keyboard and optical mouse, I get her electronic hand-me-downs. xp Aren't I special? I don't have an optical mouse so I'm happy, but I love how she said "Happy Birthday!" and gave me her old junk. XDD
My 20th Birthday
So I went over to my friend's place yesterday because she was having a get together with a bunch of friends. She knew it was my birthday, but it was a holiday party that just happened to fall on my birthday. xd
So what do a bunch of univeristy-aged students do together at a holiday party?
Drink alcohol? No.
Listen to loud music? No.
Play board games? Damn straight. 3nodding
And it was the most fun I've had in awhile. xd We played games like Chinese checkers and Scrabble. Ate a lot of junk food and talked a lot. Unfortunately I got stuck in the snow because I parked badly (I'm still relatively new at driving, much less winter driving) and came home very late and got yelled at for making my family worry. >_>
Oooh, I think I get to have a cake today. whee Thanks for stopping by. heart
